Our Fourth Year!!

As we begin our fourth year of this ministry, it is so neat to look back
and see the Lord's hand directing everything!
We sometimes get in a rush and get even our thoughts ahead of the Lord!

Our plan was to buy a toy hauler fifth-wheel right away! We wanted to
be ready to go as soon as the call came in! We thought we would just
live in it on the church property until it was time to go. Problem was
we had a graduated, working daughter and a son who was a senior in
high school, not sure what to do with his life (and working a job too).

The Lord had other plans....most of the calls we received those first
two and a half years were pretty local places. So the need was not
there to purchase that trailer....yet. We continued to rent and do the
work from home.

Then last July things changed! Josiah had decided to go to Bible
college for a year and we were GIVEN a 36' fifth-wheel trailer. It
is not the toy hauler that we thought we needed (for privacy for the
kids), but it is EXACTLY the trailer God had chosen for us! You can
read about it in the post here. In that post there are pictures along
with the story of how the Lord provided it.

It was a huge blessing because we had a trip planned to go to New
Mexico in October and we were able to take that and not only stay
in it out there, but all along the way out too! And now we are using
it again in Texas, but that's the next post!

God is good ALL the time! And it is even better when we let Him
lead the path and not get ahead of Him! We are looking forward to
using this gift from God to serve others as long as He allows!
